This position is responsible for all Quality related aspects of the Production Lines across the Clean Air at the Devon site.

The incumbent provides Quality support to the Production lines. They are responsible to insure we are making Quality products in a timely manner while also focusing on continuous improvements opportunities on the lines.

Your responsibilities:

  • Safety

  • Ensure adherence to all safety related aspects in accordance with the company safety principles and lifesaving policies.

  • Lead initiatives to improve the overall safety of the area and minimize the risk of job-related injuries as well as participating in EHS audits.

  • Complete incident/injury reports to communicate and document incidents that occur on a given shift.

  • Lead incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions associated with incidents on a given shift.

  • Quality

  • Maintain quality system compliance for activities / procedures pertaining to all associated areas of the Production line.

  • Monitor product which has been quarantined to ensure proper disposition and/or timely rework.

  • Facilitate/support root cause investigations for product failures and other related quality issues.

  • Perform SWES audits to ensure that critical job functions related to Production are being performed correctly.

  • Participate in any investigations/actions out of Customer complaints or NCNs as they arise.

  • Productivity

  • Provide support to Process Control Engineers to ensure quality goals are being met

  • Lead/support continuous improvement initiatives in the Production area aimed at improving safety culture, decreasing LTY and improving efficiency

  • Perform 5S/visual standard audits in the Production area to ensure 5S improvements are being utilized and maintained.

  • Miscellaneous

  • Comply with company policies.

  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements for the role:

  • Recommended B.S in Engineering; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities to perform the work.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Products

  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing plant environment desirable

  • Exposure to Six Sigma problem solving tools desirable

  • Understanding of ISO14001 and ISO16949 desirable
